Physical Theft
Not only internet is the medium to access one's private network's data .Physical theft of data is also another cause to network security. Physical theft of a computer is done by the person who is allowed to visit our network casually. Regular system backups with the backups stored somewhere away from the computer may save your lost data in case of physical theft of data. Allow for recovery of the data, but backups alone cannot address confidentiality. Cryptographic tools are available that can encrypt data stored on a computers hard disk.
Failure of Power or surges
Power problems (surges, blackouts, and brown-outs) can cause physical damage to a computer, inducing a hard disk crash or otherwise harming the electronic components of the computer. Common mitigation methods include using surge suppressors and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS).
Disk failure
Disk failure or data corruption is also considered in the categories of network security. Most of times due to many reason computers data stored in the hard disk gets lost. For this important data of the hard disk should be backed up regularly.
